Sean

Sean (m) An Irish form of John made famous in recent
times by the Scottish actor Sean Connery in the role of James Bond. The name is sometimes spelt phonetically as Shaun. The latter form has become a popular replacement for John in Scotland in the late 1970’s. Shauna and Shaune are occasionally used to name Scottish girls.
