Highlanders. The Queen’s Own Highlanders had been formed in 1961 from an amalgamation of The Seaforth Highlanders (72nd, raised in 1778 and 78th, raised in 1793) and The Queen’s Own Cameron Highianders (raised in 1793). Regimental Headquarters: Fort George
