Cannibal

Notorious leader of a savage family 45-members-strong who lived in a cave at Bennane Head near Ballantrae in Ayrshire. The Bean family robbed and passing travellers, eating their remains. One victim escaped the cave to tell the tale, and James I personally led the party who rounded up the family. All the adults were executed.
