Letitia

Letitia (f) Latin laetitia, ‘gladness.’ A very popular name
throughout Britain in former times. It usually took the form Lettice. This has long been virtually extinct, but Scottish parents have remained relatively faithful to Letitia. By doing so they have almost made it a Scottish name. The pet forms Lettie and Letty are used.
