Kentigern

Kentigern (m) The name of Glasgow’s patron saint
and sixth-century bishop was used as a Christian name in
that area mainly in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. It often took the form Quintigern. The name’s original meaning was possibly ‘chief lord.’
