Ina (f) The pet form of various names ending in -ina,
such as Christina, Georgina. It is occasionally used in
Scotland as a name in its own right.

It can be pronounced as Enya, Eena or Eye-na, as the bearer prefers. H. E. Bates has a story called The Landlady in which there is the rather extraordinary comment: ‘ma: classy name, too classy.’
