Highland Wish

A Highlanderr was once asked what he would wish to have, in case of some kind divinity should give him the three things he liked best.

For the first, he said, he should ask for “a Loch Lomond of good whisky!”

“And whsat about the second?” inquired his friend.

“A Ben Lomond of good food,” replied Donald.

”And what for the third?”

He hesitated a long time at this ; but at last, after his face had assumed many contortive expressions of thought, he answered, “Oh, just onther Loch Lomond of good whisky.“
