Friockheim,
Scotland

Friockheim,
this curious name in Angus, Scotland, is said to be derived from
Freke, a one- time bailie of Forfar, and “heim,” meaning
home, the suffix having been added in 1830 by one John Andson,
who had been domiciled in Germany.
