Drummond

Drummond
(m) This well-known Scottish clan name
and surname derives from the barony of Drummond in
Stirlingshire. The name is a variant of the placename Drymen,
for which no satisfactory etymology can be offered. Drummond has
been linked with Scottish history since the thirteenth century,
and is fittingly used from time to time as a Christian name.
