jewelry, designed and crafted by Kate Stevenson. I love ancient techniques,
especially
chainmaking. Repetitive joining elements are evident in most of my work.I
also have a love of my native
Montana gemstones, mainly agate and sapphire. I prefer to use materials I
find and cut myself. The agate pieces
are a new venture, reflections, both literal and figurative are the theme
of this new work, playing with light and illusion.
